Boston, Mass. — October 23, 2020 —
A new poll out from Spectrum News/Ipsos today shows the Yes on 2 campaign with an 11-point lead heading into Election Day. 45% of those surveyed support the ranked choice voting initiative, with 34% opposed to the question and 21% of voters surveyed undecided.
“With eleven days to go the volunteers of this grassroots campaign have the most important thing a campaign needs in its final days — momentum,” said Cara McCormick, campaign manager for Yes on 2. “Ranked Choice Voting puts more power in the hands of voters. It will help strengthen our democracy at a time we need it the most.”
Spectrum News/Ipsos will continue to analyze the results between now and Election Day.
The Yes on 2 Campaign is also out today with a new 30-second TV spot and an accompanying two-minute explainer video highlighting some of the campaign’s many Massachusetts endorsements heading into the election.
